In 1916, 100 years ago, a husband and wife team crossed the United States from Seattle to
New York and back in a GMC. Spanning an astounding 9,500 miles over 27 weeks, this double transcontinental crossing was a world's first feat in a motor vehicle. We commemorated the event
with a road trip of our own-that featured two Instagram stars. Together, we followed the original
journey to launch the all-new 2017 Acadia. We shot and edited 12 videos in 10 days on the road.
GMC’s journey, in 1916, proved that a capable, well-built truck was a business asset.
